Project: Blue Flames

The Cooler Master Stacker has been the staple diet of many modders and system builders over the years and it's nice to see it's still being treated to a makeover now and then. Nolimited has stripped down his Stacker STC-T01 with the aim of adding a little pizazz to the equation, with an awesome paint and light job.
The talent behind the painting is clear to see below. The flames are made up of a combination of custom-painted fan grills and acrylic that improve the Stacker's original looks no end.
Here we can see Nolimited's Stacker before and after the strip down with the internals removed, ready for modding. The classic design allows for an ample amount of 5.25" drives to be installed, as well as plenty of space for exotic cooling, and some big flat side panels that are ideal for modding and painting.
By placing acrylic on top of a template, Nolimited then cut the acrylic to shape using the template as a guide. He did this for the acylic sections and metal fan grills, with impressive results, and we recon it should look great once the build is complete.
This update showed the first hints of the paint job which looks brilliant and incredibly detailed, with the ground aluminium showing through the blue candy paint job. The addition of a chrome 80mm fan grill in a later update sets off a good contrast. Be sure to check out the rest of the images in Nolimited's project log.
Further updates show the extent of more paint work and you can clearly see the fan grill as well as black flames in the mix with the blue candy paint. We're loving the work so hope Nolimited has some more updates soon!
